Four years after nearly conceding defeat due to the pandemic’s impact, Nacho Rodrigo and Josue García have successfully revived their hotel human resources software, Nivimu. Initially struggling as COVID-19 shuttered hotels, their fortunes have since turned, with a presence at the Fitur stand drawing significant attention. Nivimu, which started in Santa Eulària, now serves around 80 hotels and chains, including names like Sirenis, Insotel, and Puente Romano. The software, which operates in the cloud, offers workforce management, talent attraction, and schedule control, integrating artificial intelligence to optimize work shifts. This innovation has expanded beyond the tourism sector, attracting clients like Ikea and Spar. With headquarters now in Murcia’s science park and a team of 43, Nivimu has transformed from a near-failure to a notable success in the hospitality technology sector.
