The self-appointment service for the Balearic vaccination BitCita has been available since 15:00 last Monday (yesterday, January 17) for the administration of third doses and booster doses against covid to all people above the age of 18. This was stated this Monday at a news conference following the Consell de Govern with the Councilor of Health and Consumption, Patricia Gomez, who also indicated that a new vaccination center with six lines will open in Manacor on Wednesday in the old Dentix center. Gómez indicated that about 161,000 individuals would now be ready to obtain the booster dose, and that five months must have passed since the last dose of Moderna and Pfizer, or three months for Jansen or Astrazeneca. The Councilor claimed that the booster dose was “equally as important as the previous two doses” to be protected against covid.
