The majority of this traffic was domestic, involving 187,593 passengers (2.3% increase), while international flights contributed 16,376 passengers (2.7% increase), with Holland, the United Kingdom, and France being the top sources of international visitors. Despite the rise in passenger numbers, flight operations decreased by 3.9%. Overall, 2023 was a record-breaking year for the Ibiza airport, which is ranked fifth in Spain and within the top 100 globally, handling 8.9 million passengers and 82,803 flights, showing significant growth in both domestic (10.5% increase) and international traffic (8.9% increase), with the Anglo-Saxon, Italian, German, and Dutch markets being the largest contributors to the international segment.
