The active cases of coronavirus in Ibiza and Formentera have reduced slightly in the last 24 hours, according to the latest data published by the Balearic Ministry of Health: from the 132 registered yesterday to 128 counted today. This figure is reached after a day in which the Hospital Microbiology laboratory Can Misses detected three new cases, all of which were in Ibiza while at the same time, doctors discharged seven patients. The number of hospitalized has also decreased, from ten yesterday to nine today. The main reduction has occurred among those affected by covid in critical condition, which have been reduced by half in just one day. Right now, only two remain critical after two others were moved to the general ward after the improvement in their condition. All those admitted for coronavirus are currently in the Can Misses Hospital: seven are in the general ward while two others remain in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). To these a further 119 cases must be added who are in a mild or asymptomatic state in isolation in their own homes, with control and monitoring by Primary Care professionals: 114 in Ibiza and another five in Formentera. The number of health workers removed from their duties due to the virus remains stable: a total of seven of which two have been confirmed positive.
