It is “ imminent “, according to the Govern. Between tomorrow and Saturday the regional government will publish in the BOIB the resolution to proceed with the payment of the largest aid package in the history of the islands, with state funds for an amount of 855 million, so that most of the beneficiary companies will receive this money on the 15th at the latest, according to their estimates. The president of the employers’ association Pimem, Jordi Mora, confirms that he has waited until the deadline of the agreed terms to fulfill this commitment, but he values the financial ‘oxygen’ that these funds are going to provide for thousands of companies.
In July the first of these aid lines began to be paid, aimed at 2,776 self-employed workers and small companies that pay module contributions and which receive up to 3,000 euros. But this package accounts for barely 1% of the total. The vast majority of these funds will be directed to the second of these lines, dedicated to more than 9,000 companies that are taxed in relation to their actual activity, and these are the ones who will benefit when the green light is given between tomorrow and Saturday to begin distributing the amounts they have been granted, with the corresponding publication in the BOIB.
