Ibiza Town concentrates one of the most extensive Christmas programmes on the island, with activity focused on Paseo de Vara de Rey, Parque Reina Sofía, Plaza del Parque and Can Ventosa.

Friday 12 December

The day begins with the Gastronomic Market at Paseo de Vara de Rey, open from midday and accompanied by live music performances. Throughout the afternoon, the area becomes a family-friendly hub with the Casita de Papá Noel, a Christmas photocall with giant characters, children’s creative workshops and the inflatable play area known as Ciudad Navideña at Parque Reina Sofía.

At the same time, Nadal a Pedal animates Plaza del Parque with a festive cycling experience. In the early evening, Christmas auditions by the Patronato de Música take place under the Christmas tent, followed by live music in different venues. The day closes with the jazz concert A Very Jazzy Christmas at Vara de Rey.

On Saturday morning, the V Open Chess Tournament takes place at the Christmas tent, while children’s workshops, inflatables and the Casita de Papá Noel remain open throughout the day. The Gastronomic Market and live concerts continue at Vara de Rey, maintaining a lively daytime atmosphere.

In the evening, the programme turns towards tradition with a flamenco zambomba, offering a warm, roots-based Christmas performance in the city centre.

Sunday 14 December

Sunday is one of the busiest days in Ibiza Town. The morning includes the Cursa de s’Indiot, a popular cycling competition, and a guided hiking route departing from the Club de Campo car park. From mid-morning until early afternoon, Santa’s Band On The Road brings live Christmas music to several neighbourhoods, including the city centre, Can Escandell, Ses Figueretes and Platja d’en Bossa.

Cultural activity continues in the afternoon and evening, with a dance festival under the Christmas tent and a classical concert, Veus de llibertat i solitud, at Can Ventosa Cultural Centre. Family areas, markets and workshops remain active throughout the day.

Sunday 14 December

Sport and tradition take centre stage. The Street Football Tournament brings competition to the village streets, while Christmas concerts by the Can Blau Municipal Music School and a traditional folk singing performance by Grup Folklòric Sant Jordi de ses Salines create a strong community atmosphere.

Santa Eulària focuses its festive activity around its Christmas Market, which remains active throughout 12, 13 and 14 December.
