The inauguration of the exhibition ‘Lobsters and guitars’ by the artist Aldo Comas took place today at the Aguas de Ibiza Grand Luxe Hotel.
The cultural event was attended by many of the painter’s friends who wanted to support him in this new project in which he pays tribute to the Mediterranean through the representation of symbolic lobsters. Macarena Gómezone of the leading actresses in the famous television series ‘La que se avecina’ and wife of Aldo Comas, has enjoyed a refreshing evening accompanying her husband with the actor Antonio Velázquez y Fiona Ferrer Leoni, curator of the exhibitions in Spain, among other guests.
“This exhibition is a small ode to the Mediterranean, to love, to beautiful things and contradictions. Lobsters symbolize duality and music, bars and guitars, in short, are something, almost the only thing, that unites us to the Spanish society. That’s why they are present,” explained the artist Aldo Comas in his intervention during the artistic meeting.
The event was also attended by local authorities such as the Consellera de Promoción Económica y Empresarial, Cooperación Municipal y Recursos Humanos del Consell, Maria Fajarnés. Also attending this date with culture were well-known faces of the Ibizan scene such as Carmen Matutes, the influencer Desirée Juradothe designer Tony Bonetthe painter Marta Torres or the Dr. Moshgan Mahrami. In addition to Monica Hoyosthe Duchess Sylvia Serra di Cassano, Paco Polenghi or Hugo Mingo, among other national personalities.
The evening took place on the hotel’s rooftop, where the ten square-format works that make up the exhibition were exhibited, and was attended by a DJ, who flooded the room with jazz and chill out rhythms, according to Aguas de Ibiza.
