A palm tree fell this morning on a car parked in the car park of the old Ibiza courthouse, located in calle Madrid, due to strong gusts of wind. The incident occurred at around 3 a.m., according to the Ibiza Local Police.
The vehicle, a white Toyota Aygowas completely crushed by the roof. Another car, a dark Suzuki Swing, was also affected by the falling palm tree, but to a lesser extent. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as the vehicles were empty.
The Local Police of Ibiza assures in his post that they have already reported to the gardening department “so that they can take care of removing it” and calls for “caution on the roads, especially in adverse weather conditions”.
