The Ibizan Bruno Garcia, paddler for the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni (CNSA) and brand new double silver medalist for Spain in the Junior World Championship in Portugal in K-2 500 and K-4 500 meters, received on Tuesday afternoon a well-deserved tribute at the headquarters of the Sanantoniense organisation, where the canoeist could enjoy the affection and admiration of those who know him closely, after a lifetime of pontoons, paddles and canoes.

At 18 years of age, Bruno García has achieved his own sporting merits and has become the pride of Club Nàutic Sant Antoni and the whole of canoeing on the island of Ibiza. The paddler of the Spanish national junior team yesterday savoured with delight the feelings of the success achieved in Portugal and was acclaimed with a standing ovation on his arrival at the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, where the organisation treated him to a warm welcome and an emotional act of homage, in which his teammates of the canoeing section, his coaches, Betty Menéndez and Eduardo Prendes, as well as a wide representation of people linked to the club participated.

Bruno García, accompanied by his parents, enjoyed some pleasant moments in which he humorously posed for the cameras of the media with his medals and was immortalized with a smile in countless photos of the moment, surrounded by all his people because it was undoubtedly deserved.
