Mëstiza
The Sacred Fusion of Flamenco and Electronic Beats
The Birth of a Cultural Statement
In 2021, long-time friends and established producers Pitty Bernad and Belah combined their decade of solo experience to create Mëstiza. This project is more than a DJ duo; it is a celebration of Spanish heritage, combining the raw emotional power of flamenco with the hypnotic energy of modern house and techno. Their name—Spanish for "mixed"—perfectly encapsulates their mission to bridge the gap between ancestral traditions and futuristic sounds.
Quëreles: Chart-Topping Success
Mëstiza’s debut album, QUËRELES, released in late 2023, became a cultural landmark. It achieved Number 1 status in Spain within its first week, featuring collaborations with flamenco icons like Chambao and Argentina. The record proved that their "electro-folklore" sound had a massive global appetite, blending melodic house with traditional palmas, bulerías, and soulful Spanish vocals.
Sacro: An Immersive Experience
The duo's signature event series, SACRO, has redefined the clubbing aesthetic. More than a party, Sacro is a mystical experience where live flamenco dancers and musicians share the stage with cutting-edge electronic production. Born in Madrid, the brand has grown into a global powerhouse with sold-out residencies in Ibiza and international showcases in Tulum, Miami, Dubai, and London.
2025/2026: Making History
As of early 2026, Mëstiza continues to break barriers as leaders of the Afro-Latin house movement:
Hï Ibiza Residency: In 2025, they made history as the first female duo to debut with a residency at the world's #1 club, Hï Ibiza, a legacy they are carrying into the 2026 summer season.
Global Tour 2026: Their current world tour includes headlining slots at major international hotspots, including a historic performance at the Giza Pyramids and key dates across the Middle East.
Empowerment through Fashion: Known for their avant-garde, flamenco-inspired silhouettes, the duo has become fashion icons, featured in Vogue Arabia, Rolling Stone, and L’Officiel.
Mëstiza is not just playing music; they are exporting the essence of Spain to the global stage, proving that the roots of the past are the foundation of the dancefloor’s future.
