The lively celebrations of Santa Gertrudis will bring colour and community spirit to the village from the 3rd to the 30th of November this year, with a range of events planned by the Festivities Commission and supported by the Santa Eulària Town Council.

This year’s programme boasts a rich selection of gastronomic delights, including the inaugural EiViFest, a wine fair showcasing local varieties. The musical offerings are equally exciting, featuring a performance from the renowned band Jarabe de Palo and a unique event with El Fabuloso, where the legendary Locomía will make a special guest appearance.

Other highlights include a traditional ‘bingo pagès’, a lively folk dance, the 5th World ‘Arròs amb Pebrassos i Trossos’ Competition, and an ecological market.

The festivities will cater to all ages with children’s activities, theatre performances, and sports events, such as the popular ‘Cursa de sa Sobrassada’.

Highlights of Santa Gertrudis festivities

Saturday the 9th promises to be a memorable occasion. At noon, the Fruitera folk group will enliven the atmosphere with a parade and traditional dance to launch the first EiViFest. This new Wine of the Land Festival will include music, food trucks, and entertainment from the set of Vermut a 45 RPM.

As the day winds down, DJ Torres will raise the energy in preparation for one of the most anticipated events of the festivities – a live performance by Jarabe de Palo. The performance, dedicated to Pau Donés, will take place under the big tent and is presented in collaboration with various cancer support associations.
