The Adlib weekend begins on Friday 6 June, the night before the main event, with Futur Adlib, a platform for new talent in fashion design. This showcase takes place at Sant Miquel Church, under its historic arcades, merging fashion with the island’s architectural heritage.
Six young designers –Claudia Alba Morán, Antonio Plasencia Aymes, Neus Guillén Cañellas, Maria Francisca Rosselló García, Matthew Francis Moncada Andrango and Natalia Martínez Nieto– will present collections that reflect the future of fashion rooted in Ibiza’s traditions.
A tribute to 50+ years of Adlib fashion
To celebrate more than five decades of creative freedom, a commemorative book titled ‘50+’ by Juan Suárez will be launched during the event. It retraces the history, personalities and cultural impact of Adlib, reminding us that this movement is not just about clothes, it is about identity.
Designer Antònia Riera Tur of Ibimoda, a key figure in the Adlib community, summed it up perfectly: “Even after 27 years, the passion and emotion remain exactly the same”.
