In June 1988, Sa Caleta Restaurant was born as a charming seaside restaurant, lovingly crafted from wood. Founded by Pepín Pujolet and Victoria Baos, the modest chiringuito has since evolved into a culinary landmark on the island. Today, the couple’s son manages the establishment, preserving the founders’ original spirit and vision.
The menu has remained unchanged since its inception, with the secret to its success lying in the use of the finest ingredients, prepared with utmost care. It features traditional Ibizan seafood favourites such as grouper, John Dory, dentex, amberjack, red prawns, lobster, and line-caught squid.
The restaurant boasts a spacious terrace overlooking the sea and beach, framed by striking clay walls that create a picture-perfect setting. The interior dining area is made of wood, with a nautical décor showcasing mementos of fishing days and tools of the trade.
Sa Caleta is also the name of a stunning, serene beach, whose crystal-clear waters are part of the Ses Salines Natural Park—a true slice of paradise.
