Located in a historical 18th century farmhouse in the heart of Santa Gertrudis, in a protected building that remains faithful to its original construction, the welcome here is attentive, friendly and unpretentious.

The tables arranged in the garden are dressed simply, with a rustic vibe that sets the tone for the dinner to come. The menu is also simple, with dishes prepared using the highest quality ingredients without any fuss or fanfare. At Finca La Plaza they let the food speak for itself.
«We are committed to high quality products and strive for excellence when selecting our raw ingredients. For example, we source our tuna from Cadiz and the free-range eggs are from Ibiza. We always try to buy as many products as possible here on the island. We also produce some of the fruit and vegetables ourselves», explains Gennaro Vitto, F&B director of Island Hospitality. Maintaining the high standard in the kitchen is possible thanks to a menu that’s not overly extensive and that changes very little.
There’s nothing better than starting the evening with a cocktail on the tranquil terrace surrounded mature trees, cacti and lush greenery.
Rustic bread with soft and fluffy citrus butter or extra virgin olive oil as an aperitif is the perfect prelude to a dinner where you can choose between fish, meat and of course vegetable options. There is even bread for celiacs.
Signature dishes for all tastes
For lovers of fish, the tuna tartare with Ibizan lemon zest is a treat that you won’t forget in a hurry. Roman-style artichoke with truffle sabayon is an option for vegans and for those who love the intensity of these precious fungi.
For those who like to enjoy dinner in a special setting like Finca La Plaza, choosing among the specialities of the restaurant, which opened shortly before the outbreak of Covid, is complicated. The ‘Meloso’ rice with shrimp carpaccio, a creamy, semi-soupy rice dish with a distinct Mediterranean flavour, is ideal for fans of paellas. You can also accompany it with artichokes and other vegetables.
Exquisite meat and fish in Ibiza
The exquisite meat dishes include Wagyu beef, Tarragona poussin chicken or Smoked pork rib ‘hot-dog’ and are all irresistible; the same goes for the fish, with seabass, turbot or char-grilled octopus, among other delicious choices.
It is highly recommendable to pair your meal with one of the more than 300 wine references that are stored in the specially conditioned wine cellar in the house and finish up with a home-made dessert, such as the cheesecake ice cream.
